Interview a Police person
(a) Name and designation of the person.
Ans:-
I interviewed a police person named Miss Rasika Kumare. She was in service
since February 2017. Her second posting was at Koramangala Police Station,
Bangalore. Before that she was in Mysore.
(b)
Where he or she is serving
Ans:-
She is serving in Karnataka Cadre. She is originally from Gorakhpur in Uttar
Pradesh. This is her second posting. Soon she will be promoted as ASP
(Additional Superintendent of Police). Now she is in Koramangala, Bangalore.
Police personnel usually get an official transfer order every three to four
years. The person interviewed here is Miss Rasika Kumare posted as DSP at
Koramangala, Bangalore. Soon she will be promoted as ASP and will take charge
of another city.

Serving since
Ans:-
Miss Rasika Kumare has been serving the Indian Police Service since 2017
(February) as she cracked the IPS exam from 2016. After her result she rushed
to complete her training program as it is a mandatory part to get appointed as
an IPS officer.

Educational and professional qualifications
Ans:-
Miss Rasika Kumare is a very smart and sharp lady who cracked the UPSC exam in
her first attempt. According to her rank she chose to be an IPS officer. She
was an MBA and graduated from a prestigious institute like IIM Kazikore.

Memorable experiences
Ans:-
Miss Rasika Kumare was not so expert in gun shot. But after her hard work for
that she used to be expert on in gun shot.And for this achievement she paid her
gratitude and acknowledgement towards her seniors as they were being her
constant support system throughout the journey.

Advise or message to youth
Ans:-
Miss Rasika Kumare (DSP), Koramangala means to crack UPSC exam and her life's
goal and that is how to be successful through it. It was her childhood dream to
become a national servant in a prestigious position and her dedication and hard
work made it possible.

Visit a police station in your vicinity and enquire about its organization and functioning. Write down what you have learnt
during the visit?
Ans:- In order to make the students understand the
importance of all the components in the society, the students of PRIA School
visited the Rasayani Police Station and explained the day-to-day functioning of
the police station.
Police station
functions very well. Everything operated there in a systematic way. DSP joined
just four months back in that police station. In spite of that she is handling
every situation and cases very smoothly as per the opinion of her subordinates.
I understood that in a peaceful mind with patience every situation can be
handled.
Senior Police
Inspector Om Jadhav of Rasayani Police Station guided the students. He gave
information about getting important documents done regularly, ragging or
molestation and how the crime was reported. Also, after completing 18 years, I
appeal to the new students to drive a vehicle after completing 18 years of age.
Assistant Police Inspector Ganesh Patil and Police Naik Anil bote gave information
about weapons, guns etc. to the students. Also the day-to-day business of
police station, registration of crime, criminal cell or relevant information was
given to the students or during the visit.
